There’s plenty to do and see in New Hampshire in March

Warmer days and cool nights means it is Maple Sugaring Season in New Hampshire and a great time to visit local sugar houses and New Hampshire Made and its member NH Maple Producers welcomes you to come and see them all. While in New Hampshire, be sure to take advantage of some great spring skiing and lodging packages at local resorts state wide.

For those in search of real maple syrup, New Hampshire Maple Sugar Weekend, March 27 & 28, 2010 is an especially good time to visit. Over 50 sugar houses across the state will be opening their doors and welcoming visitors. Enjoy the sweet smell of maple steam rising from the evaporator and the ambiance of a working sugar house. Some have special activities planned, such as horse-drawn rides, pancake breakfasts, sap collecting, musical entertainment and more. Tour a sugar house and maple orchard; enjoy free samples of maple products, maple coffee, sugar on snow and other maple treats.
